Arda is an Istanbul based photographer specializing in commercial photography.
Drawing on from the magic appeal of his hometown Istanbul, he is not afraid to transfer the magic into other contexts. Having an eye for the everyday urban experience, he constructs and dissects life with a manner of brevity.
The lure in his photographs is simplicity and its playful construction of order that derives from his understanding of space. His use of everyday objects in a semi-magical manner provides the edge in the photographs. Alternating with the rather magical are mundane objects that become highlighted as objects of interest for the viewers.
He is not trying to narrate a whole story, rather he is sending short messages, or tweets, about the image, leaving the construction of reality to each viewer.
